Safflower Wax Application

APPLICATION:

Safflower Wax was developed for the final treatment of interior wooden surfaces, i.e. furniture, doors, wood panelling. After being treated with Safflower Wax, the hues do not yellow, as is typical for products containing linseed oil. Please keep in mind that yellowing will occur if the product is applied on surfaces pre-treated with products containing linseed oil. Not suitable for flooring.

Prior to application on your surface, the suitability of this product should be tested on a small, inconspicuous area.

USAGE:

Wax is applied thin and evenly with a lint-free cloth, 1 or 2 times according to the absorbency of the surface. Avoid surpluses or wipe off with a lint-free cloth. Polishing the dried surface with a horsehair brush gives a silky shine. Room temperature during application must be at least 50°F.

DRYING TIMES:

Drying times will vary based on temperature and humidity. Dry after approximately 24 hrs at 68ºF.

STORAGE:

If stored cool, airtight and above freezing, the product can be kept for several years.
